so, out of the huge prize pool, chris takes the lion's share. and the elephants share, and the giraffe's and part of the hyena's too. basically he claimed well over $250 worth of cash and prizes for his $20 investment.

ryan came in second with close to $100 of cash and prizes, so after that, there wasn't really much left for everyone else.

thanks for playing again this year, and a huge thanks to ride magazine, bicycling australia and euro optics for providing the extra prizes.

Well done and thanks Pete. I made $2 on my investment but the stress it caused was out of all proportion. I was going so well until I picked a 'roughie' to try and outfox the field - it didn't pay off and I lost about 8 places. Next time i'm going conservative.

Thanks for providing the extra interest in teh tour - Russell

Hey Pete - thanks heaps for the added pressure and the 'reason for staying up' (past the usual fanaticism that grips at this time of year)! Thanks to Lorraine as well for organizing the prize pool - this group really does have it sewn up for a 'social ride' bunch! Shall we have an "End of Tour" breakfast celebration?? I know a GREAT place in Como.... fabulous coffee and home baked goodies....!! ;-)

I would like to put a block on the issue of winnings until Chris' drug test comes back!

Well done Pete. Are we going to do something for the Vuelta?

Take care,
